On September 13, 2024, the QSU Knowledge Center conducted their 1st In-house Training Development Program entitled “Cybersecurity and Internet Threats “, held at the Knowledge Center – Audio Visual Room.
The resource speaker was Mr. Gerald M. Lamaroza, In-Charge, Multimedia Services. He discussed the various kinds of cyberattacks that could damage our computers and how to prevent them. Additionally, he underlined how important it is to create a strong password to prevent hackers.
This activity was organized by Ms. Monica D. Hernando, RL, MSLS, University Librarian, she emphasized in her opening remarks the goal of this activity and its significance in performance of their work assignments.
Following that, a token and a certificate of appreciation was awarded to the guest speaker. Also, another certificate of participation was given to each participant.
