Crossing Gender Boundaries – Fashion to Create, Disrupt and Transcend

Sasha Fleischman, a teenager who identifies as agender (i.e. neither male nor female), was sleeping on a bus in Oakland, California when their skirt went up in flames. Another teenager on the bus had flicked a cigarette lighter at the hem of Sasha’s skirt, while his friends watched and laughed.
